EXPLORE
Podobello provide a vibrant array of pop up shop "pod" units located in the heart of London's Portobello Road. I was hired to design and build a modern website to reflect their modern approach to business. The website needed to be high spec, incorporating high quality photography and video.
To provide a modern online presence and allow prospective store owners to enquire and book pod spaces online

Web Development
To get things started, I sat down with the client and we talked through their business, how it worked and what they're looking for. They didn't have any online presence at that time, so were really looking to make an impact with a professional website that would get them more enquiries and bookings from store owners.
We took some time to create the content for the website, including a professional video shot on site showing some of the shops found in the pods including an O.P.I Nail Bar and a vintage clothes store.
Now knowing exactly what was needed from the website, I created lo-fi mockups of the various pages.
The client was looking to convey a clean but lively look. After some testing and research I chose a pallete that worked with their exising branding, gave a sense of space and provided a strong shot of colour through the gradient red tones. Typography wise, I chose Brandon Grotesque for it's sharp yet alternative style.
Combining the lofi base with the look and feel, I went on to produce a set of hifi mockups. I then built the website from scratch, ensuring it it was lightweight and worked on every device and browser.
