When SJ Auto came onto my radar, I noticed that they lacked any real branding or online image. I approached them and proposed a project to give them the logo, collateral and full brochure website they really needed. I met with the owner, and we went through how his business operates, and what he might be looking for in terms of content and style.
Before working on anything else, SJ Auto needed a strong brand image. One of the companies favourite project cars was a 1969 Cadillac de Ville, which I created a couple of vector illustrations of from scratch. I then used this in 5 logo designs which I presented to the client, they loved them all but said that one in particular stood out.
With the logo chosen, I helped the company produce collateral such as embroidered uniforms, window stickers and of course the most essential items in any garage; mugs.
With the brand complete, I went onto design and develop the website from the ground up. We really wanted to make it clear what services SJ Auto offer, so I designed some icons to represent these which are used above the fold on the homepage. I also included a gallery to show off their work and customer reviews to help install trust.
